Barny Beswick is the Lead Volunteer for Gorse Covert the wooded area in Peel Hall.
He is passionate about everything that supports biodiversity and wildlife and promotes education for all to raise awareness on topics such as littering, composting and reusing natural materials.
You can find Barny planting bulbs, clearing woodland paths, litter picking along the Black Path and building planters for good causes.
Barny is currently supporting our friends at the Dandelion Church Garden offering his experience on growing and building.
We’re very grateful to Barny for taking a lead on much-needed funding applications which will enable our volunteers to operate safely.
We are lucky to have City of Trees partner with us at Gorse Covert.
