In Our Nature MCR is a group of organisations in Manchester, with your help, they are creating the city’s biggest community climate programme. Local businesses with recycling points
Contact us for information on your local litter picking group for parks, woodlands and green spaces. If you tell us your local area we will put you in touch with our local leads.
We actively encourage and support residents to “adopt” a green area such as their local grass verge, street, park or woodland.

Please note: The site has a height barrier of 2 metres (approx. 6ft 6 inches).
At Longley Lane you can recycle:
Batteries, Cans, Cardboard, Cell Batteries, Computer Monitors, Fluorescent Tubes, Fridge/Freezer, Gas Bottles, Glass, Garden Waste, Non Ferrous Scrap, Oil, Paper, Rubble, Scrap Metal, Textiles, TVs, Tyres, Wood. Fluorescent tubes.
If you live in Manchester you can use Longley Lane Recycling Centre free of charge for waste and recycling from your home. This includes waste from normal day-to-day household activities and DIY projects.
