Thank-you to Mr Loynes and Ridge Park Ltd.
John-Paul recently had the pleasure of meeting Ridge Park Ltd Director Mr Dougie Loynes and discussed many things from Community Spirit to business Give & Gain, and Social Value.
Seeing the great work our volunteer team produce Dougie kindly offered to support our group with funding which will enable us to continue this work with the peace of mind that our annual meeting room rent and liability insurance is covered.
This is a huge boost to our team, as is, the offer to support the very same website pages you are reading this on now.
As a group that doesn’t hold money but spends whatever funding we obtain on delivering litter picking events and supporting local volunteers with equipment and training requirements, we welcome support from all with a similar ethos of Community Spirit which Ridge Park Ltd definitely possess.
We are looking forward to evidencing the results of the support we have received and also embrace the fantastic start we have made in this partnership with Dougie and his amazing group.

These two wonderful posters were created by Faye Tikic commissioned by Wythenshawe Waste Warriors made possible by the amazing donation from Dougie Loynes and the team at Ridge Park Ltd.
The posters will help us promote our friends at St Wilfrid’s and their Church Ground Clean Events.
Thank-you Dougie and Faye you are both amazing

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group
Next funding was over £2,000 donated by the Wythenshawe Community Housing Group for the purchase of litter pickers, hoops and Hi-Vis vests.
Our leads volunteers were provided with a fantastic set of equipment supplied by the Helping Hand Company.
One of the beneficiaries was the Wythenshawe Community Rugby Union Club who put the set to great use on their dedicated monthly litter picking events 🧤
Asda October 2019
The following images are a thank-you to Donna Kitto and the ASDA team for £1,000 funding for Hi-Vis clothing and litter picking equipment.
This was the first funding we received, and it was a huge help in equipping our leads and helping us work safely; making us more visible throughout the autumn and winter months.
